Located in Fanore, midway on the Wild Atlantic Way,  "Into the Burren" is a unique self-catering bed and breakfast location that is the perfect place for your Staycation. We have 2 cosy Studio lofts Aven & Gentian suitable for family/friends' holiday breaks. These can accommodate up to 11 people. The lofts are located over our residence and a staircase leads up to the rooms. We live in a separate space downstairs.

You will have the Aven loft for up to 5 people. Enjoy a panorama of the Burren and sea views. There is a Guest's entrance and you will have 1 ensuite bedroom, lobby, fully fitted kitchen & dining/chill area. There is a sofa bed - this is a double size Futon. We also have cots and high chairs available for families with young children.

A healthy breakfast is supplied.

You can relax in the lobby area between the rooms. This area is shared and has tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, water cooler, seating, reading material, maps etc.

We understand that some people enjoy a "guest only" space so we have converted a timber shed at the back of the property. We call this "The Hub".

The Hub" is a shared area for guests that has full self-catering facilities. It has a fully fitted kitchen, cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher etc. It is a great place for cooking, dining and chilling out. Guests can feel at ease here and enjoy cooking, relaxing, partying, themed nights, Halloween games or even a fancy dress!!

We have there a selection of board games, books, a music system and a couple of guitars for your enjoyment.

We also have a shared outside area with a firepit/BBQ and outdoor furniture with beautiful views of the Burren hills.

We have 3 sheep, Sunshine, Blue and Belle. The animals are kept in our adjacent field and guests are welcome to feed them - just ask and we can help.

On our doorstep you can swim/surf on Fanore beach - only a 3 minute drive away or walk, hike/bike the Burren Way trails & green roads.The Iconic Cliffs of Moher are only a 30 minute drive away.

Interaction with guests can be as much or little as our guests desire. Guests privacy will be respected at all times. Kathleen is a National Tour Guide (Failte Ireland Approved) and she can provide advice, information and tours of the locality and surrounding areas.

Although a car/vehicle is recommended - public transport is available. Our local Bus Eireann service Route 350 from Galway and Ennis will drop you at Fanore Bridge - about a 10-minute walk to the property.
